I have worked at RVC since I was a student and was thrilled to have the opportunity to venture into ownership with my business partner. I truly do enjoy all things "Dog" my husband David, and I train and show Shelties, Golden Retrievers, Dalmatians, and the occasional "something different" in obedience, rally, agility, dock diving, conformation, and coursing ability tests (Cats & FCats). I also currently have 5 dogs that are certified therapy dogs that visit care facility's, schools, hospitals and other special events

I grew up to get married and raise 2 daughters who were involved in the Westmoreland County 4-H program for 10-12 years. This is when I fell in love with farm animals including, goats, hogs, lambs, & cattle, my personal favorite being hogs! I love to start my day with a good mood, a good strong cup of coffee, and some sunshine. As the RVC receptionist, I love the interaction I get with clients, as well as their pets! It can be a stressful time when pet owners need to visit their Vet, so as the first person of contact, I strive to get their pet a timely appointment, consult with the Vet for any questions they may have, and greet them with a friendly hello upon entering the clinic. I am here to set our atmosphere as friendly, calming, and comforting.

Other times I am at my grandmothers farm spending time with my pony Shiloh. Becoming a Veterinarian has been my dream since I was younger and thanks to my grandma Hollie and Aunt Mellissa, I now have worked here for 9 months. I only work during the summer but I intend to return during my school breaks and next year to continue working here. The staff is almost like my second family, and I love seeing all the patients every day!
My name is Flower, I was brought into the clinic about 13-14 years ago. At a young age my humeurs was broken. X-rays showed that my leg could be fixed. Pins were placed my broken bone. With some PT and time I learned to walk. I have worked at RVC since my surgery.
My name is Walter. Me and my fellow street cat were brought into RVC as stray feral cats. We had wonderful humans taking care of us but winter was coming. I was captured in a live trap. I was checked over. Health wise, lost some parts and wormed myself into everyone's hearts that work here. I now work at RVC. (My fellow street cat lives in a private family home)
My name is Autumn. Due to an accident in the barn I lived in, my right front leg was broken. My kind human brought me into RVC, X-rays showed that my leg could not be saved. Surgical amputation was performed. Since I am down a leg I can no longer do my job as a barn cat. I now work at RVC.
